Our multi-tasking owner, when she’s not managing the accounts and HR rota, working front of house with Nathalie, flower arranging, or making coffees and crépes…… can very occasionally be found enjoying a flat white or Cornish G&T. She longs for more of these relaxed moments to catch up our customers, ideally in the sunshine on our decking!

Damian Semonin

Co-Owner / (Aspirational Chef!)

Damian, Truro born, grew up in Christchurch, NZ followed by his teens in Dubai, UAE both countries influence his love of fresh produce (fishing and fruit picking in NZ, the local fish and produce souk markets in Dubai), flavours and cooking.

With a couple of cafe restaurants and a patisserie in his extended family, on returning home after a few years away he saw a way to share his ideas for a Southern hemisphere, Middle Eastern, French and Cornish influenced cuisine inspired in a local bistro.
